Hi Tyson et al, I would like to add my voice to those requesting an automatic notification when an affiliate signs up. It's important for us because we have policies that we require our affiliates to adhere to, and it's a bit of a pain to have to remember to check the affiliate logs regularly so that we can send out an email with our policies. Getting the system to automatically notify the seller of an affiliate sign-up just the way we can be notified of a sale seems like a very straightforward feature to add, and would greatly increase the convenience and automation of the e-junkie system. Thank you, Clare Variant Books # POSTED ON: June 10, 2009 @ 20:58 GMT -7 |

I will assign your request to Development for consideration on the Wishlist of desired new features. Meanwhile, we would suggest having a dedicated Affiliates recruiting/info page on your own Web site, where you would present your sign-up link along with any other instructions or policies you wish to provide for your affiliates' reference. You can enter the URL of that page in your Seller Admin > Affiliate Program Settings > "More Information" URL, so affiliates who have already joined your program will be able to find their way back to that page easily via a More Info button in their own E-junkie Affiliate Admin. # POSTED ON: June 11, 2009 @ 17:02 GMT -7 |

Thanks, Tyson! We've already followed the suggestion re: an info page, but unfortunately, have had little luck in getting people to adhere to our required notification policies. So an automated notification would help a lot -- I appreciate your passing the suggestion along. Thanks, Clare # POSTED ON: June 11, 2009 @ 17:52 GMT -7 |
