Affiliate program commission impact donations?

In addition to selling products via my website, I will also include a Pay Pal donations button. If a person makes a donation and is directed to the site from an affiliate, will the affiliate receive a commission? My hope is not to just for donations.

Semi-related - from what I can tell, the donations button would also be an Add to Cart button versus Pay Pal's Donate button. Is that true? Is there a way to make use Pay Pal's donation button? Or would I have to add that button seperately from the E-junkie buttons.

Thanks,
Dave

If you want to exclude any product(s) from earning affiliate commissions, you would first need to have a 0% common affiliate share in Seller Admin > Affiliate Program Settings (you can still define a common hop link URL if you wish).

Then edit product-specific affiliate settings to define a share percentage for each product you DO wish to grant commissions on (you can set those %s without necessarily also configuring a product-specific hoplink URL, if you only want to issue common hoplinks).

You can replace our standard button image with any custom button image you wish, as explained here:
