I would like to be able to offer an automatic volume discount when someone purchases more than one license for our software. For examle, our software sells for $59 but if someone buys 2 or more I would like the cost to automatically be $49 each, if they buy 10 or more at $44 each, 50 or more $39 each.

I don't see any way to do this currently but most software sellers do offer these kind of tier volume pricing options.

If you'd only be selling the one product with various license-volume levels, you could do that using our Cart Discounts. Just create a Cart Discount without a discount code (so the discount would apply itself automatically) that takes 17% off the Item Total when Min. Items in Cart = 2, then create another one that takes 25% off the Item Total when Min. Items = 10, and another that takes 34% off when Min. Items = 50.

If you are selling other products, note that the above approach would only count total unit quantity in the cart regardless of which product(s) are being ordered, so e.g. an order for any 10 units of any product or combination of products would trigger the 25% discount.

If you need product-specific discounts, then Item Discount codes configured in the settings of each product are the only way to do that, and buyers would need to enter a discount code in their cart to redeem a discount off the price of each unit of that product.
