Here's what I'd like to do -

product 1 = download only

product 2 = download with on-demand SwiftCD backup

there would be no "CD only" option - the CD is an add-on

I got product 1 set up fine - any suggestions on how set up #2?

1. If you want to offer a download along with shipping, simply upload the file for the product or select "use files from other products" option and the select the file from your existing download only product.

That's exactly what we'd suggest; upload the file for Product 1, then when you create Product 2, enable the "Package files from other products" setting and choose Product 1 as the file to issue for Product 2, and enable "Send Transaction Data to a URL" so you can set up the SwiftCD integration:
