I face the following problem I need to solve. When PayPal (standard business account) payment is completed, customer should be able to download the purchased digital product using the regular E-junkie procedure for download. In addition to that, is there a way that the customer is directed to a specific web page on my own server too? There are many videos that the customer might be interested to download as well for free? Thanks for letting me know. Kind regards, Tony # POSTED ON: August 21, 2009 @ 05:59 GMT -7 |

I only have one product on sale and I am making use of the e-junkie server through Amazon for the downloads. Looking around the preferences I seem to remember there was an option to direct downloads from your own server while maintaining the same encrypted links but I believe you had to sign up for a different service to do that. The advantage though from what I could see is that users with large amounts of data would probably save money in the long run if you wanted to go that way. As a quick work around though why not just send out the link with your thank you email so that users can be directed to the additional content on your server? You could also include the link on your thank you page as well I suppose. # POSTED ON: August 21, 2009 @ 10:16 GMT -7 |

Tony, You would want to use a customer thank you e-mail page, so your buyers can get their download and a link to go to your page. Here are links to our FAQ pages on customizing your thank you page and e-mail: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.custom.thankyou-email.htm http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.custom.thankyou-page.htm # POSTED ON: August 21, 2009 @ 15:13 GMT -7 |

Hi Tony, I know it can all seem a little tricky at first but if you spend some time looking at the various options inside e-junkie and do a few test runs I am pretty sure you'll be able to do what you need. I only started quite recently myself and I'm no genius, so I am sure you'll be fine! Good luck Ashley # POSTED ON: August 22, 2009 @ 04:07 GMT -7 |
