My PDF is created with Adobe Indesign CS3 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 and to my knowledge is not password protected in any way. I've put the link specified in you Stamped PDF Instructions (minus the PDF_pwd= parameter on the end. I created a test product and then sent myself a free download link. The resulting download didn't have a stamp. Do I have to do a pay transaction to get the stamp to work? Or am missing something? # POSTED ON: August 24, 2009 @ 10:43 GMT -7 |

Did you save the file as Acrobat 5 or later? I believe you need a password just to do that and from what I have read here the stamp works best with the Acrobat 5 setting, though I am sure somebody from e-junkie will correct me if I am wrong. # POSTED ON: August 24, 2009 @ 17:06 GMT -7 |

ashleykaryl - thanks for the suggestions. Yes, I saved as Acrobat 5 or later both with and without password. I'm going to bag it this feature is a great idea but a little to quirky to get to work. I can live without it. # POSTED ON: August 24, 2009 @ 17:40 GMT -7 |

I was having some problems as well so I sent in some sample files but I am waiting to hear what progress they have made. Perhaps it can be made to work more reliably with a bit of luck. I'd certainly like to use this feature. # POSTED ON: August 24, 2009 @ 17:45 GMT -7 |

PDF Stamping will not work with files issued via the "Send free download link" function, nor with free links emailed out using our Updates/Newsletters service. It only works with links issued as a result of an actual checkout, even if only a Free Checkout. This page gives tips for testing your setup with our Free Checkout: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.test.htm Also note that you must wait at least 15 minutes after uploading a file with PDF Stamping enabled before the file would be ready for stamping; any downloads issued before that point would not be stamped. # POSTED ON: August 24, 2009 @ 18:30 GMT -7 |
