I'm sorry, I just can't figure this out. Just starting up w e-junkie, and I think I added the code alright to my site www.freetvsecrets.com. Don't need a full cart - it's just one ebook - so the "buy now" button seemed most appropriate. Added the discount code "EARLY" so that people who buy now get a discount. Figured $10 off the $29.99 cover price. It SORT OF looks like everything's working - discount box is there, and I can even see the promo code "EARLY" on the Paypal payment processing page. But no discount. Have tried varying the number, and following everything I can find in the e-junkie instructions. Any ideas? # POSTED ON: September 16, 2009 @ 11:46 GMT -7 |

This FAQ page explains what Discount settings will (and won't) work with Buy Now buttons: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/faq.discounts.buy-now.htm # POSTED ON: September 16, 2009 @ 18:36 GMT -7 |

I submitted a request to the helpdesk, and they told me specifically what was wrong. The default setting for expiration date is sometime in the future - I think 2012 or something. If you leave it on the default, it won't work - you have to manually set it to zero. I don't know why the default is what it is, but that's why my discount codes weren't working. I know from some other folks' e-mailing me since I posted this that it's a common problem - no one would think to change the default. In any case, all good for me now. # POSTED ON: September 16, 2009 @ 18:44 GMT -7 |
