I wanted to confirm that e-junkie was capable of supporitng my shipping prefrences and if so ask how to configure it so that it works as I need it to.

Shipping only to the United States except Hawaii and Alaska

Cost of shipping based on cart total

0.01-20.00 = $7.00
20.01 - 40.00 = $9.00
40.01-70.00 = $11.00
70.01 - 90.00 = $13.00
90.00+ = $15.00

I'd also like to be able to do things like free shipping to certian states and over x amount during certain periods.. but I suppose Ic an probably do that via coupons/dicsount codes?

I see how I can setup flat rate shipping based on order amount, but how can i exclude Alaska and hawaii from acceptable shipping locations? Would I have to setup the shipping options state by state and then not include those two states?

Would be really nice to have the option of "United States" (Lower 48 states)

I suppose we could simply cancel any orders made from Alaska and hawaii, but that is not a method we'd prefer.

You would first setup general shipping rules for United States/All States, then create additional rules for United States/Alaska and for United States/Hawaii which would automatically override the general US rules (more-specific locations override general locations for shipping rules).

Unfortunately, we have no way to block buyers in Alaska or Hawaii from placing orders at all (though setting up exorbitant shipping for those destinations would tend to discourage it rather strongly :^).

Am I missing something here? I don't see where there are shipping rules for states. Perhaps this is an old feature.

When you go to Seller Admin > Cart Shipping Settings and click Next to reach the Shipping Rules screen, you will see a place to define conditions under which an order would qualify for any given Shipping Rule you create. You must select Country: United States in order to create a Rule that would only apply to shipments going to a particular State.
