2Checkout Customer Gets Error 004

Hi guys,

A customer of mine clicked my ejunkie button and went through to 2CO. He chose the PayPal option and paid. When he clicked Submit he got an Error 004.

His funds are in 2CO, but he wasn't sent the ejunkie download email.

Also submitting a support ticket to 2CO. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Paul

It seems like the POST data was not coming for 2CO transactions for a 1 hour period. It seems fine currently.

We'll look into if the issue was on our end or 2CO's end. If it was on our end, then we can get the data from logs and re-run the transactions.

It was an issue on our end and the transactions have now been processed.

Hi guys,

I'm getting the same error message. Could you guys possibly look into this?

Cheers,
Bryan

EDIT: Nevermind, just figured out that e-junkie doesn't work in the test mode :-)

Update: Just so there wouldn't be any confusion, this issue is not sorted and was not caused by the system working in demo mode.

Really hoping that someone can help us on that ..

That Error 004 currently indicates your 2CheckOut secret word in your E-junkie Seller Admin doesn't match what you've got in your account at 2CO's end. Changing your Secret Word to match at both ends (ideally using copy-paste to make sure they're the same) should fix the issue.

That's bizarre as I'm about 150% sure that it does match (quadruple-checked as I thought it might be because of this).

Hmm, or might it be that the secret word ends with a number? ...

Ok here's an update - I changed the secret word so that it wouldn't include any numbers, special characters etc. and customers still see the error message.

Any other ideas on what to do? Would appreciate a lot as I need to get some sleep at one point, lol

Thanks,
Bryan
