If you do not have either PayPal Standard or Pro enabled then you would not be able to accept payments through PayPal. It will not change anything else about how E-junkie works.

Sorry if I did not make myself clear the first round.

I actually have a PayPal Std Biz account. For my case, I prefer to accept payment from those verified PayPal acct holders. I would not want to accept those w/o and choose to pay directly with their credit cards thru PayPal. I understand to achieve this, I hv to turn the option OFF in PayPal.

In this context, would e-Junkie still work.

Yes, we should still work with PayPal Account Optional: OFF. We just recommend leaving it ON to accept payments from the widest range of buyers, but it's not necessary for E-junkie to work.
