our website has communitybuilder 1.5 implemented. Is there any way for e-junkie to recognize a previous customer who has logged in to the site?
Right now, when our customer re-order, e0junkie treats them as Brand new customers.
If i cant do this with Cb1.5, what method does e-junkie maintain to recognize customers?
thanks!

The only information buyers need to enter in E-junkie cart is their zipcode (if it's a tangible product) and E-junkie cart does remember that, so can you please elaborate what do you mean when you say you want E-junkie to recognize customers?

Thanks for your response Chef!
We were looking to have e-junkie use the buyer's first name - for example - "welcome Back [Name]"
additionally, we need to be able to send a different Thank you message at the completion of the transaction to previous customers versus brand new ones.
ideally, it would be great to have e-junkie know whether the user is logged into the site and then tailor its behavior based on this.
Is that a bit more clear?

E-junkie does not have a way for buyers to login, so we would not have a way to know who a buyer is before the checkout. After checkout the payment processors sends us the buyers name and e-mail address along with the transaction data, we do not get any data on weather or not the buyer is a returning customer.
