shopping cart won't open on my site

I've done something to override the java script on view cart so that clicking on the buy button takes the buyer to a separate e-junkie window. Not having much familiarity with HTML I can't trouble shoot. I was doing fine--cart was opening up on my site, but then something happened. You can probably look at code and see the problem.

I already responded to your your question via e-mail. However as I stated in that e-mail, I did test your page and the add to cart buttons do add products to the cart.

I still get the separate window. Any reason why my system and not yours. Try again; I made some changes.

I repasted the view cart code and I get the window overlay on my site, but when I get down to Trinitas zinfandel the item no longer goes in the cart. Sometimes a new cart is created, sometimes only individual items are showing, not a cumulative listing.

I just looked at your site again. I can now add in all of the products. The cart is showing up in a separate window, but I did check and you do not have a complete view cart code on the page. Replace one of your view cart codes with the complete default code from your E-junkie account.

Thanks for being so helpful and so patient. While I now have the overlay window, I can't get all the items to show up in the cart. When I get down to the Van Ruitan Pinot Noir item, the system starts a new cart or put conversely, the item does not go into the cart that was functioning for the wines above it. So you really can't add all products. Is there a bug? Could the Go Daddy platform be causing problems. For example the spacing between lines just changed spontaneously--no long even.

Merci,

TOM

I definitely think there is something in the GoDaddy system that undoes my settings. I no sooner get the over lay windown opening than I go back a few hours later and a separate window opens up.

Called GoDaddy. Learned that there is a special insert box for JavaScript on their web builder template. I now think the problem has been solved. End of thread I hope.
