First, thanks for such an awesome shopping cart. E-junkie continues to impress me. In fact, I am setting up a third client with an ej cart. Anyway... In order to allow our wholesale customers to place an order, and be charged later for their tangible purchase, I have set up one discount code for 100% off cart items and another code for 100% off shipping and handling, so the cart is zero'd and the order can go through. This seemed to work fine on my first test of it. Both coupons appeared in the cart and were applied to zero out the total sale; I had to provide my contact and shipping information and I got the thank you page. But now when I attempt another test of it, it is not applying the second discount in the cart when I go to check out. It only allows one or the other code and it does not return an "invalid remark" when I update cart, there is simply no adjustment to total and no "used coupon" listed in the cart (/w the red remove x). Any ideas why it would stop allowing both coupons to be applied? Thanks. # POSTED ON: December 23, 2009 @ 23:03 GMT -7 |

Is it allowing you to place either the of the coupon codes in or is the shipping code not working? Also so you know you can give both discounts the same code so the buyer will only need to enter in a single code. # POSTED ON: December 24, 2009 @ 09:20 GMT -7 |

It currently allows only one of the two codes to function, Although it allowed both in my first test. How do I make a single code to discount both items and shipping? # POSTED ON: December 27, 2009 @ 00:05 GMT -7 |

You can setup your product discount and your shipping discount with different names but the same discount code. This way all you need to do is type in a single discount code. Also make sure your discounts do not cause the other to not work. For example if both discounts only work if the cost is over $30 and the first discount take the cost below $30 then the second discount will not work. # POSTED ON: December 30, 2009 @ 16:15 GMT -7 |

Indeed, I had both discounts set to trigger at the same quantity and cost, once the first discount is applied, the second trigger can't be satisfied if it requires there to be a cost trigger. Excellent. Thanks. # POSTED ON: December 30, 2009 @ 19:20 GMT -7 |
