Quantity multiplier for codes

I don't believe you have this feature, but nonetheless wanted to see if there is a workaround.

I normally sell inventory managed codes on my EJ pages. Let's say that 1 code is $1.00.

I sell them on eBay as well for a similar price.

Now lets say supply exceeds demand. I can lower my EJ price to let's say 50 cents. However, on eBay buy-it-now price, $1.00 is the minimum. I would like to list 2 codes for $1.00 on eBay so that it is the same price as EJ.

If there is a way I can set a 'multiplier' - for example, this order from eBay sends out 2 codes (rather than 1) if I can set it to 2x (3x , 4x, etc.).

If this feature is not available by default, can I hire you to add the code?

TIA

We only treat the quantity as a multiplier, and what you require is not something we can do. I'll suggest that you add multiple codes on a single line instead, which I realized is a painful process if you are changing the offer frequently, but that's the only way to do what you want for eBay sales.

Are you able to expand the number of characters that each line of code can contain? I send out hyperlinks so it (code) can be very long. Long enough that I cannot place 2 codes on a single line :( Doubling the current character limitations may help....

If your hyperlinks are all mostly the same, with only one section where there's a unique ID, then you could put a list of just the unique IDs as your Stored Codes, and then do something like the following if you Enable Templated Email:

http://www.example.com/common/stuff/here[%codes%]etc.

...so for instance if one of the codes was ABC123, that would show up in the email as:

http://www.example.com/common/stuff/hereABC123etc.

The only tricky bit about this is that you could only sell one code at a time, so selling pairs of codes or allowing multi-quantity code orders would not work.

Thanks for the idea. However, it probably wouldn't work in my situation since I usually sell more than one code at a time.

For the time being, I am using tinyurl.com to shorten my long links....

Some extra work so I am hoping that I can hire somebody to automate some of this for me :)

You may find some alternatives to tinyurl that can shorten a batch of URLs all at once; this link forwards to a Google search where you may find some good options:
