Inventory Reduction - Google Checkout Orders

E-Junkie,

We seem to be having an issue when a customer uses Google Checkout to purchase physical goods. The SKU is passed to the Google Checkout cart, however the inventory management does not reduce according to the quantities in the customers shopping cart. This is causing us many headaches when it comes to inventory management.

When our customers use PayPal or PayPal Pro, we have no issues.

Is there something we are missing?

Thanks.

Logan, can you please check if you are seeing the Google Checkout orders in E-junkie logs? If not, then please ensure that you've followed the integration instructions at http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/google-checkout-shopping-cart.htm

E-junkieChef,

You are correct, the additional instructions were what I was missing. I will check back later to double check that the transactions show up in the E-junkie logs.

Thanks for you help as always.

E-junkie,

I have received a few more Google Checkout orders and they are still not logging into the transaction logs. Furthermore, I am receiving emails from Google stating:

"We've made several unsuccessful attempts to send order notifications to your notification callback URL, https://www.e-junkie.com/*****/ResponseHandler.php As a result, you aren't receiving order status, risk, or other notifications."

I used my 5 digit account ID (replaced with *****) found in seller admin under Account Summary.

Any ideas?

Go into your Google Checkout account's integration settings, make sure you have the API Callback Method set to XML, then open the Advanced Settings section there and make sure you don't have anything at all checked in that section.

E-Junkie,

I have checked and re-checked my Google Checkout integration settings. They are all correct as you suggested.

Perhaps we can continue this discussion via email so that I can provide screenshots.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Thanks!

Feel free to email support if you wish to continue a discussion there, provide screenshots, etc. Are you seeing any sales from GC in your E-junkie Transaction Log, some but not all, or none from GC at all?

I checked all the setting and everything appears to be setup correctly.
seems to happen very randomly...
I also have another issue I'm not really comfortable discussing on a public forum.
