Offline payments

I have a question in regards to my account. My account is for the website set up for my virtual enterprise students. Because this is a class all products and transactions are virtual, each student has a fake bank account from which they can make purchases. Because of the nature of the class students make all purchases by ordering from a site and then the other class sends a purchase order though the Virtual Bank. Is it possible for my e-junkie account to simply send me an order when students hit the checkout button? I cannot ask them to use paypal as they do not have accounts and school districts block the site to protect student information. Thanks for the help!!!

That is not possible currently. We will add support for 'offline payments' and 'gift coupons' next month and you will be able to use those features to achieve what you need.

Just following up on this post...

Is this something that has been integrated yet? My company is interested in providing our customers with the ability to buy through a PO (purchase order) number. Thank you!!!

Seriously? That's e-junkie's official response in terms of feature development? Doesn't make a customer who has just invested time, effort and money into your product very confident.

I'm comfortable with the fact that the feature doesn't currently exist and I realize e-junkie cannot solve for every customer's needs... but to lay out a no enhancement plan so rigidly in a consumer-facing forum doesn't make sense.

I am sorry if my reply came across as blunt. Right now we have other things which take a front seat on our priority list.

Have a great day!

It's wrong to complain without offering a solution too so...

I'd like that feature too but didn't ask. Seems like customer requests are an interruption. In customer service, the easiest way to be blunt is to say "thanks, we'll add that idea for future consideration."

Bear in mind in the earlier response (Nov 2007) you stated the feature would be available in 1 month, 3.5 months after that it's a no.

Every business has priorities - most make attracting and retaining customers #1!

"No response required"
