I thought I had set up a dummy affiliate account (for "cj"). It shows as an affiliate in my list of affiliates. But I can't seem to log on as an affiliate. Any time I log on as "cj", I am taken to the Seller's home page, NOT to the affiliate home page. I am really pretty sure I am going to the Affiliate page for login, not to the regular login page. I tried generating a new password, and that didn't help. The "cj" address is totally different from my regular EJ address. Only the computer is the same, m'am. (Sorry, it's Sunday, and my humor is wry.) This came to my attention today because I am trying to check a problem that one of my real affiliates mentioned. How can I pretend to be an affiliate? I hate to ask about problems that I haven't verified myself. Thanks. Coach (and "cj") # POSTED ON: January 3, 2010 @ 10:49 GMT -7 |

I am not sure if you have done this before, but go to https://www.e-junkie.com/ej/logout.php and then click the affiliate tab and try to login using the "cj" account from there. # POSTED ON: January 7, 2010 @ 01:36 GMT -7 |

Chef, Thanks. The next day I was able to log in. But that has been but the beginning of my problems. I just can't get my products to link correctly to go to different pages. (That was the issue my affiliate contacted me about.) I've been in contact with Support about this issue several times, but there has been no resolution. I am truly on the brink of stopping the affiliate program. The written instructions in EJ contradict what Support told me to do. A book that I bought online hasn't got it right. My affiliate no doubt thinks I am an absolute doofus because I can't get the settings right. And I have no faith at all that EJ can handle the financial transaction right when they can't get the settings set up right. And I'm no beginner at EJ. I actually wrote a book for those starting EJ and have it posted at SBI for all its members. Either EJ has to simplify its setup, or it has to hire someone who knows how to write an instruction book. (No, not me. I'm busy enough with my website.) This level of confusion is absolutely unacceptable. If you have to charge a few dollars a month more in order to afford it, do it. But don't become a third class provider. # POSTED ON: January 7, 2010 @ 09:20 GMT -7 |

I tried to edit the post above, but it wouldn't open for an edit. I do want to apologize. My last round of problems was of my own doing. I was looking at the box with the code ABOVE the drop down menu, instead of the button BELOW the drop down box, so I wasn't retrieving the right code. I am going to hold onto the affiliate program for a bit and see if it works. I would like one of my affiliates to sell something so I can test the money transaction process. BUT, PLEASE, MY APOLOGIES for blaming E-J when it was my fault. # POSTED ON: January 7, 2010 @ 15:24 GMT -7 |
