Affiliate - Who Gets Credit for Multiple Clicks?

Hi all - I'm curious - If a particular customer is on the same marketing list for multiple affiliates selling the same product and clicks an affiliate link from each - who gets credit?

For example:

Affiliate A is selling Product X
Affiliate B is also selling Product X.

Customer John Smith gets the affiliate link from both of the sellers above, but he clicks Affiliate A's link first...does A get credit? Or does B get credit?

If a train leaves a station going west at 90 miles per hour and another train...no wait..wrong forum. ha ha.

The last affiliate hop link clicked before the sale would determine who gets the referral credit and commission. I.e., a buyer's browser can have only one cookie set for your affiliate program at a time, and clicking a hop link always sets a cookie, so that would clobber any older referral cookie for your affiliate program in that buyer's browser.
