Hi all, I'm using Paypal Standard for sales, and one customer asked me if it is possible to checkout without signing into Paypal with a creditcard directly, because he forgot his password. I told him that he could use the "Continue" Button on the page that appears after checkout (before signing into Paypal). Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue But he replied that he doesn't have this tab. Now, my question: Is there a way to get this tab along with the "sign in to paypal" box by default after checkout? So they don't have to press the "continue" button. AFAIK The Sign-In box for Paypal is displayed by default on the right. Also, it seems that Paypal uses different text on the pages in different countries. I know, it's silly but some people need a really easy, foolproof checkout process. # POSTED ON: January 29, 2010 @ 14:59 GMT -7 |

UPDATE: I checked the page in german. It says "PayPal. Online zahlen - einfach und sicher. Sicher: Ihre Daten werden bei der Zahlung nie an den Verkäufer herausgegeben. Einfach: Sie bezahlen mit zwei Klicks. Schnell: PayPal-Zahlungen treffen schnell beim Verkäufer ein. Kostenlos: Bezahlen mit PayPal ist immer gebührenfrei Sie haben noch kein PayPal-Konto? Kein Problem. "Kaufabwicklung fortsetzen." "Kaufabwicklung fortsetzen." is the equivalent to continue in english. Still...is there a way to get it by default? UPDATE: Customer says: i dont see any thing like that i speak englight sight is in english all i see is pay with pay pal when i go to chackout # POSTED ON: January 29, 2010 @ 15:05 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: January 29, 2010 @ 15:24 GMT -7 |

The landing page that the buyer ends up at when they click to checkout with PayPal is decided on by PayPal. There is no place in E-junkie to change this setting. If you have PayPal Pro or Authorize.net buyers can pay with a credit card, without checking in to PayPal first. # POSTED ON: January 30, 2010 @ 11:25 GMT -7 |
