Hi All, I have a software product that I want to use ejunkie for. After payment I want the customer to be able to download the file as usual; however, it is just a sample and I need some information to create their custom product. This is where my problem lies. The download that is actually their product needs to be able to be downloaded by unlimited people. I know ejunkie only allows up to 9 per link. Any suggestions as how I can supply the download for unlimited downloads. ejunkie or not. Maybe file storage and sharing? I don't know. Any suggestions? Thanks Wendy # POSTED ON: January 30, 2010 @ 13:34 GMT -7 |

I think you'd want to use E-junkie for the initial purchase and sample download, then you could use any more direct method to provide the buyer with an unlimited link to their customized download. You could just park the custom download file on your own Web site's server (maybe putting such files in a special subfolder or sub-subfolder such as www.yoursite.com/clients/lastname) and give buyers the direct URL to their file, or (especially for large files) use a generic file storage/sharing service such as MegaUpload, RapidShare, MediaFire, SendSpace, etc. # POSTED ON: January 31, 2010 @ 18:51 GMT -7 |

Thanks, I think that is what I figured I would do. It is a big file so I will look into your suggestions. Thanks Wendy # POSTED ON: February 1, 2010 @ 06:34 GMT -7 |

If it's a really huge file, you might also consider using our SwiftCD integration to have them automatically write your file to a CD/DVD and mail that to buyers on-demand whenever an order comes in: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.integration.htm#swiftcd # POSTED ON: February 1, 2010 @ 18:47 GMT -7 |
