Hello, So far E-Junkie has been a great solution for me. The only problem I'm having is that I seem to be stuck with paying affiliates monthly since the mass pay file is available for download on a monthly basis only. I had contacted your team about the possibility of more frequent payments and quoted from part of their reply: ""If you want to pay your affiliates more often you can, but E-junkie will not create a file for you to upload in to PayPal." So I emailed back asking about how to do that and whether the E-junkie system will still help me to keep track of those who got paid and those who weren't, and whether my manual payments will reflect in the affiliates panel? I wanted to post here as well to get suggestions about what other sellers and people are doing if they do not wish to stick to this monthly payments rule. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It means a lot to me to be able to make frequent payments smoothly and I would really like to stick to e-junkie for all the wonderful features. Wouldn't be possible to enable us to generate that mass pay file at least once weekly? Thank you very much! # POSTED ON: February 4, 2010 @ 11:39 GMT -7 |

Our Seller Admin > Pay Your Affiliates feature can only generate a list of lump-sum commissions earned by each affiliate in the last completed calendar month. Our system cannot track whether, when, or how much you pay your affiliates, so your commission pay-outs would never appear anywhere in your E-junkie account nor in your affiliates' accounts, whether you follow our standard monthly method or not. Your business relationship in regards to affiliate programs is between you and each affiliate directly; we only provide the tools to help you conduct that business, and you are expected to pay out commissions honorably without being tracked. The monthly pay-outs work to your advantage, as it gives plenty of time to allow for payment refunds/reversals to be processed, so you can't have a scammer joining your affiliate program and generating a bunch of sales from stolen PayPal accounts, collecting a fat commission payment from you, and then disappearing before those fraudulent orders are discovered and reversed -- and you can bet if one gets away with that, he'll tell all his crooked buddies about it, too. This is also why we recommend waiting until mid-month or later to pay-out commissions for the last completed month, so there'd be a couple weeks' leeway for any refunds or reversals affecting that month's sales. # POSTED ON: February 4, 2010 @ 19:50 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: February 4, 2010 @ 19:51 GMT -7 |

Aha, well thanks for that long post. But if you take a look at the statement below quoted from Seller Admin > Edit Affiliate Program Settings, you'll know why I'm a bit confused. The statement below is conflicting with your above statments concerning that E-Junkie does not track payments. If you would take a moment to explain it, that would be highly appreciated: E-Junkie.comSet https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/ipn_ext.php as IPN URL in your PayPal account's IPN settings - So we can track the payments you make to ensure the legitimacy of your affiliate program. Thanks! # POSTED ON: February 5, 2010 @ 08:19 GMT -7 |

Ah yes, we had intended that so we could tell whether merchants were paying their affiliates (e.g. so we could back you up in case an affiliate complained they hadn't been paid), but in practice this didn't work as planned, so we'll be removing that instruction when we roll out the next revision to Seller Admin. # POSTED ON: February 7, 2010 @ 16:05 GMT -7 |
