Really happy with E-Junkie so far, it just works great!

I sell WordPress themes and to promote better my business, I would like to giveaway a free theme from my website but all keeping track of the downloads so I can add my customers to my support forums.

Shall I create a new product and set the price to 0$? will the customers need to log into PayPal or go to the payment process if its like that?

Please let me know your suggestions.

We reply to all support emails and forum posts within 24 hours or less, usually same-day during business hours (but I happen to be working late today. :^)

If you set a product's price to 0.00, or if you create a discount that marks the price down to 0.00, the buyer could use our Free Checkout option in their cart:
http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/free-checkout.htm

Note that this would only work with Cart buttons, not with Buy Now buttons, as the latter would bypass the cart and take buyers directly to instant checkout with a pre-selected payment processor, and they cannot handle a checkout "payment" for 0.00.

Thanks for the great time-response as usual. I've noticed that there is a limitation of 100 downloads/day? is there any available setting to control that limit?

Soon we will be setting different daily Free Checkout limits based on which plan level you subscribe to. Meanwhile, our Lead Developer can raise your limit manually in our database, although we may ask you to subscribe to a higher plan level to help cover our overhead to process that many Free Checkouts every day for you. Note that this limit only applies to actual cart checkouts for a 0.00 order total; it does not apply to free items ordered together with paid items (so that would involve a regular paid checkout), nor does it apply to any free links you may send manually from your Seller Admin.
