There are no sales listed in the Affiliate Management section (everyone shows $0.00) and I get told there are no payments due, when the Transaction Log shows Affiliate sales and the amount of money they earn per sale. I have just started to use the system and all of the sales come from one person who is buying the products themselves (taking advantage of the discount) so I am wondering if in this case maybe the affiliate is getting a discounted price although the transaction log shows full price was paid # POSTED ON: February 22, 2010 @ 07:14 GMT -7 |

Your E-junkie Seller Admin > View/Edit Affiliates screen would not show any earnings; that is only a place where we list the affiliates who have joined your program and give you the option to grant them an ongoing extra percentage or per-sale flat bonus amount on top of your standard affiliate share percentages, or you can delete (ban) affiliates from your program as well. Our affiliate system calculates affiliate commissions due on a monthly lump-sum basis. When you go to Seller Admin > Pay Your Affiliates, that will let you generate a masspay.txt file for all commissions earned in the last completed calendar month -- e.g., generating that file today would list commission totals earned in January. Any commissions earned in February would be payable in March. We recommend waiting until mid-month or so to generate the masspay file, so the commission totals calculated there would reflect any refunds/reverals that affect original payments made in the last completed month. Once you have the masspay file, you can simply upload that to PayPal Mass Payments to pay your affiliates automatically (this will levy PayPal's transaction fee based on the total of all payments together rather than for each payment individually), or you can just use the masspay file as a reference to pay affiliates manually by some other method if you prefer. It's up to you if you want to honor commissions earned on an affiliates' sales to themselves, but our system calculates all commissions the same regardless of who the buyer is. If you want to deduct those commissions, you can do that by manually editing the masspay.txt file after you generate it from Admin. Many affiliates expect to get a discounted "wholesale sample" of the product they'd be expected to market for you, so they may not appreciate having that "rebate" deducted from their commission, and if you will make this a routine policy, you should clearly state so on your affiliate recruitment page. # POSTED ON: February 22, 2010 @ 15:27 GMT -7 |
