I know I have seen this somewhere on the forum but I was not able to follow the instructions. Basically Im selling a dog collar which comes in 6 different sizes (each size has a different price) Plus Im selling the matching dog leash (optional) which also comes in 3 sizes with 3 different prices. I want both these products on the same add to cart button. one drop down box with the collar sizes and prices and the other drop down box with the leash sizes and prices (which would be optional) Thanks for any help that you can provide to me PS - creating forms and html and all the different wording makes me dizzy lol.. so if you can explain for a newbie to understand would be very greatful, thanks again # POSTED ON: March 11, 2010 @ 13:39 GMT -7 |

This forum thread may be of some help, it contains the code necessary to create a button that adds multiple products to your cart: http://www.e-junkie.com/bb/topic/575#post10989 # POSTED ON: March 11, 2010 @ 17:38 GMT -7 |

Thank you for your reply. I worked on this for a few hours but I cannot seem to get it to work. I posted a test page I just dont know where the addmulti script goes. http://www.oncloudcanine.com/ejunkietest.html to get a better idea of what I am trying to accomplish, but I'm afraid I am over my head for being a newbie at all this - Ive done tons of designing but never worked with ecommerce, this is all new to me. # POSTED ON: March 11, 2010 @ 21:50 GMT -7 |

Keep in mind that this is an unsupported "hack" of our code. I've been playing with the code myself but unfortunately I'm not one of the programmers and I've not been able to make it work either. The reason it's not working right now is that your button is trying to add the two items to the cart without the size information included, hence the "the product combination does not exist" error. If you need someone with experience in customizing E-junkie in ways that we've not documented, I recommend contacting someone on our developer directory for assistance: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/developer-directory.htm # POSTED ON: March 12, 2010 @ 11:10 GMT -7 |

Thank you for taking a look at it for me, for now I will just use the regular add to cart buttons. One day when I have time I will figure it out.. I'm too stubborn to let it go lol # POSTED ON: March 12, 2010 @ 17:08 GMT -7 |

I GOT IT!! I cant believe how simple it was! http://www.oncloudcanine.com/Untitled-2.html After playing around in the section 'Define Variants Having Individual Price/weight ect..." I figured it out. A little confusing at first but it worked out the way I wanted. The help section in e-junkie is really helpful but after taking a break from it and coming back with a fresh mind its not as complicated as it was at first. # POSTED ON: March 14, 2010 @ 19:59 GMT -7 |
