Discount Codes and Affiliate Programs

Hi! I have an affiliate where we'd like to do several programs. 1) Where his customers get a discount code for my products and another 2) straight referral program from his site to mine, where he gets the affiliate fee.

But I don't want them to overlap - where his customers are using a discount code AND he's getting the affiliate fee. The different links to my site and the discount codes will be on separate site pages, so they will only see one or the other.

Is there a way to separate them out so I'm not taking a double hit on sales? Thanks!

If your affiliate is keeping them on separate pages, then you can have one page that has an affiliate hop link from us to your page and one that includes a the discount code and a general link to your site that is not connected to us. What you should know about is one, the browser cookie that is created when a buyer clicks on the hop link last for six months. Two, if a buyer who uses the discount gives it to a friend and then the friend goes through the affiliate hop link then the buyer will get the discount and the order will be associated with then affiliate.
