Been selling with PayPal/E-Junkie for a while but have never been able to get any real metrics on just how many customers jump ship when they get taken off to PayPal for payment. PayPal has come a long way for general acceptance, but there's still got to be a lot of people who cringe when they see it. Or maybe not? Anyone measuring this data and have any results to share. Any feedback is much appreciated! # POSTED ON: April 2, 2010 @ 20:35 GMT -7 |

I can only chime in and say I would be interested to know as well. My understanding is that cart abandonment for internet sales is vastly higher than would be the case in a normal retail shop, because there is no embarrassment factor for the buyer online in simply walking away at the last moment, but I have always struggled to find an specific figures, especially comparing PayPal/e-junkie, with other alternatives. # POSTED ON: April 5, 2010 @ 08:30 GMT -7 |
