I set up a promotional cart total coupon and set a max use amount based on how many I gave away. However, I cannot figure out how to set this up so that it can only be used once per customer (I suppose per email address). I've already had 1 person make separate cart purchases so that they can use the coupon code more than once. Is there a way to limit coupon use to one per customer? Thanks. # POSTED ON: April 26, 2010 @ 16:30 GMT -7 |

There is no reliable way to monitor or limit how many times each specific buyer uses a common discount code. We can only count how many times a discount is used by anyone/everyone altogether. You'd want to create a discount with a list of codes and Max Use Count=1, then issue each customer their own, unique code that can only ever be used once. # POSTED ON: April 26, 2010 @ 19:27 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: April 26, 2010 @ 19:31 GMT -7 |
