Tax is determined by which country and zip code the buyer is in, so we cannot remove those options while still providing the sales tax feature.

Thanks for the confirmation. In my case (Canada), tax is dependent upon the sellers location not the buyers. I thought that was the typical tax scenario but I'm new to this. I believe this would be good add-on to e-junkie processing.

I wasn't aware of that, you're using the "Tax everyone" option instead of taxing by destination then?

I'll bring this up to our development team to add to the wishlist as it really isn't necessary to collect the buyer's location for tax in your case. It shouldn't hurt anything but it is always better to keep things simple and not clutter up the cart with unneeded options. :)
