Hello, I've done some reading here and just want to make sure I have this right... because I will be selling tangible goods from more than one source, I can't set the shipping for every item according to weight... some items will be according to weight, and others will include the shipping charge in the price... so those that I don't want the customer charged shipping for, I will set the weight at zero? Does this mean if a customer only buys one item and it is one that includes shipping in the price, I will have set the weight at zero and they will not be charged for shipping? And if a customer buys multiple items, shipping for those I've set a weight for will be calculated, and the item with no weight will essentially be ignored when shipping is figured? I want to be confident that I have this correct! Thanks in advance for any help. # POSTED ON: June 19, 2010 @ 08:57 GMT -7 |

If you are using a weight based shipping rule, then yes, that is absolutely correct, products with a weight of zero will not be figured into the shipping calculations. # POSTED ON: June 19, 2010 @ 09:53 GMT -7 |
