I am unable to copy the codes. If I "control A" on the code field, the text outside the code box get high-lighted and then it is copied and inputs to HTML field. If I manually highlight and copy code - I either still get back ground text OR get no copy. I've tried with more than one web composing program.

I've done this process a million times. I'm sure that I am doing it correctly. This must be a wierd cyber-clitch on your end?

What can I do - short of typing in the code - letter by letter - and screwing up!!!

You have to press CTRL+A after clicking in the code box.

Or you can also try right clicking and selecting "select all.." from context menu.
