I have been successfully using iDev Affiliate, combined with PayPal Pro & e-junkie to track affiliate sales for the past several months. I did this by placing the tracking pixel iDev Affiliate gave me in my Common Thank You Page. I recently added a new line up of products, and because there are different commission amounts for different products (requiring different tracking pixels to note the differing commission amounts), I moved my tracking pixel from the Common Thank You Page to the Product Thank You Page. That way, the tracking pixel would be unique to the product sale and not all sales. When I do this, I get an error message that the sale amount was not received (one of the things for which the tracking pixel calls). Is there any reason, on e-junkie's side, why this should be? Does the Product Thank You Page not function in the same way as the Common one? When I move the identical pixel back to the Common Thank You Page, the problem is solved. However, I'd really like to put different tracking pixels on different products, so that folks can get the right commission amount. HELP! # POSTED ON: September 3, 2010 @ 08:31 GMT -7 |

Information about the sale amount would be specific to the entire order, not a single product, so I don't think you will be able to make those tracking pixels work on a per-product basis. A single product's HTML settings won't have the information your tracking pixel needs. # POSTED ON: September 3, 2010 @ 13:01 GMT -7 |
