I'm selling an ebook which I've also included 16 videos with. It sells for $39 (ebook and videos together). I just set it up so that when people visit my sales page, they have 3 options to buy: 1. Buy just the book with 1 video - $19 2. Buy just the videos (assuming they have the ebook already) - $27 3. Buy the ebook and all the videos like I've always had set up - $39 My current affiliate program is for the way I've originally set it up (the $39 route). These are all the same products, just sold in different ways. If someone links over to my site from one of my affiliates who is promoting my "ebook and videos for $39" but then decides to buy just the ebook + 1 video version for $19, will my affiliate still get their 40% commission? Here's the site in case that helps: http://securemyblog.com/wordpress-defender.html Thanks, John # POSTED ON: September 7, 2010 @ 16:03 GMT -7 |

The only functional difference between your affiliate program's common hop link and any product-specific hop links you may offer is a matter of what landing page the buyer arrives at after clicking the link. Regardless of whether the buyer follows an affiliate's common hop link or a product-specific hop link, that will set the same referral cookie in the buyer's browser that expires in 6 months. Any product(s) that buyer purchases from you during the lifespan of that cookie will earn the referring affiliate a commission, according to either your product-specific share percentage (if the product has one) or otherwise your common share percentage (for products which have no product-specific %). The help page for our affiliate system has more details: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.affiliates.htm # POSTED ON: September 8, 2010 @ 18:06 GMT -7 |
