Hey folks! Are there any plans for updating the e-junkie website design? I'm loving the functionality but the interface is *very* difficult to navigate... and since it's Flash driven, there is no way to access them from devices like iPad, etc. We're nearing 100 products in our shop soon and having to select/edit them from a dropdown menu is a pain, really. Also the 'back' buttons are at different places on every single page, which makes it very confusing... I apologize if I sound negative, in fact, I really enjoy e-junkie and have recommended it to other businesses (that have also adopted it) - but the UI really needs an update! We've actually been working on an HTML-based replacement for our current, Flash-based Admin screens, which will roll out when it's fully tested and ready for prime-time. This will also make it much easier for us to effect changes and improvements to Admin quickly and more frequently. :^) # POSTED ON: September 13, 2010 @ 14:48 GMT -7 |

Awesome!! You totally made my day! Great to look forward to. Yeah, I bet it's easier for you guys too, I coded a Flash parser myself in the pre-AJAX days and it's a clever solution, but eventually backfires a little bit in flexibility. I applaud you guys. Cheers! -TT # POSTED ON: September 13, 2010 @ 15:11 GMT -7 |
