Hello: I am testing my shopping cart, and am having an issue that I was hoping someone could help with. I have a product that I want to sell at a couple of different price points in different places. I have created 2 separate products at 2 different prices. However, whenever I get the E-junkie "Add to Cart" button code; it always take me to the Ejunkie cart and shows BOTH products (at separate prices). Where can I get a URL that will only show the 1 product in the shopping cart? Here is my testing code to the shopping cart: https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=834800&cl=142782&ejc=2" target="ej_ejc" class="ec_ejc_thkbx" onClick="javascript:return EJEJC_lc(this); I only want one of those to show up. Thanks! # POSTED ON: November 8, 2010 @ 16:39 GMT -7 |

When a buyer (or you posing as a buyer for testing purposes) adds an item to a cart, it stays in their cart until they either remove it or take their order to checkout, or until 24 hours have passed since their last cart view. Thus, both items appear in the cart for you because you'd added both items to your cart within the last 24 hours without checking out. A buyer who adds just one item to their own cart would see just that one item. If you only want buyers to be able to purchase one item at a time, without the ability to add multiple items to their cart, then you would want to use our Buy Now button codes rather than Cart buttons. Buy Now buttons bypass the cart entirely and take buyers directly to instant checkout for just one item at a time, but this also means they can't use some features that depend on the cart to work: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.buttons.buy-now.htm # POSTED ON: November 9, 2010 @ 15:12 GMT -7 |

Well, I have the same problem, I would like some piece of code that I can add to my "add to cart" link so that the cart automatically reset the number of items present in the cart so that buyer can only buy what he clicked last. Is that possible? I only sell one item in different spots of my website, just like the person who started this thread, so I don't want that buyers keep clicking and have the same item multiple times in their chart. I prefer to use the shopping cart rather than buy now button, because it's much easier to connect the Google E-Commerce Stats. PLEASE let's find a way! ;) # POSTED ON: December 31, 2011 @ 00:04 GMT -7 |

Clicking an Add to Cart button for the same product multiple times would not add multiple units of that product to the buyer's cart; after the buyer adds an item to their cart the first time, subsequent clicks of the Add to Cart button for that item would merely display the cart with the original item already in it. # POSTED ON: January 2, 2012 @ 13:09 GMT -7 |
