I will be selling a download product to my customers that contains a download and membership in my site discussion forums. Can e-junkie somehow handle this with one purchase? Somehow I need to to include a link to my forum registration page, but that page must be hidden from non-paid site visitors.

You can customize the thank-you email you send to buyers for the download product, and/or customize the thank-you page we generate with your download links, to include a link to your membership registration page:

If your membership system can accept PayPal IPNs, it might be able to accept our IPN-style Integration submissions to auto-register new members:

If your system doesn't have IPN handling built-in, you might have a custom script programmed to perform that task (e.g., using their payment email and transaction ID as an initial user/password login). Hello there and thanks for your help. This is exactly the information I was looking for. I'll check into the forums I'm planning to use, which is called Kunena, a Joomla component forums system, to see if it can work with IPN's.
