I am trying to convert our trial account to a paid account. I set it up so we pay for our monthly subscription to E-junkie with our Paypal account. We have $46 in the account and the bill from you is $27.

When I go to paypal, it tells me I must add a credit/debit card to pay for it. We don't have a credit or debit card on this account, and although I've started the process to add a bank account, it can't be completed until my boss is back in the country and can access the bank account. When I try to tell Paypal to take it out of our existing balance, it tells
me that "Some payment methods are not available for this transaction." Is this a setting you have set?

PayPal needs a payment source for subscriptions. It's not a setting on our end.
