I've had a number of emails from customers lately complaining that their purchases have taken an inordinately long amount of time to download - often 30 minutes to an hour for a 10MB file. These have been files hosted on the e-junkie server and I have two accounts that have both suffered from this I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and what can be done about it. # POSTED ON: March 10, 2011 @ 06:56 GMT -7 |

Within the first 15 minutes after a new file is uploaded, download performance may be less than ideal until we can sync a copy of the file up to our Amazon S3 provisions for long-term storage and delivery. This help page covers some other factors known to cause slow download performance: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/trouble.downloads.slow-stalled.htm If those factors don't seem relevant, please send us some affected transaction IDs to investigate, along with the browser and OS used by those buyers (if known); we can look for signs of anything unusual in those cases: https://www.e-junkie.com/ej/contact.php # POSTED ON: March 10, 2011 @ 20:07 GMT -7 |
