Hello I'd like to set up a discount code that applies to only 6 products (same product in 6 colours). How do I do this so that the same code applies to any other colour? The only way I can see of doing it is setting up 6 different codes, one for each colour product. Thanks Ella # POSTED ON: August 19, 2011 @ 04:50 GMT -7 |

You would need to create 6 separate product specific discounts: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.discounts.htm Or you can use our Variant or Variable features to allow people to choose from the different colors in a drop down menu and create a single discount for the product with the 6 options: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.variants.htm # POSTED ON: August 19, 2011 @ 11:58 GMT -7 |

Hello Thanks for this. I've actually found a way around the problem. I have added 2 discount codes for each product. Each colour product has the same code, plus a unique code which relates to it's colour. We will just advertise the one code (not the unique colour codes) and it looks like that same code will apply to all 6 products. # POSTED ON: August 22, 2011 @ 02:37 GMT -7 |

Yes, you can use the same Discount Code for multiple product-specific discounts, so buyers entering that one code in their cart would apply the matching discount to each item in their cart which has one. I'm not quite sure I follow what you mean about the unique color codes, but presumably you've tested that it does what you require, so I'd have nothing to add in that regard. # POSTED ON: August 22, 2011 @ 15:55 GMT -7 |
