Hi All, I plan on launching my e-commerce site quite soon. I have E-Junkie all set up and am almost ready to go, but I was curious about one more thing. Do I need to do anything special to my paypal account? Right now I just have a normal paypal personal account. There is no limit that I know for sending our getting money (I think some personal accounts have a $500 limit). I have noticed other sellers in the market I am in that have they name of their webstore when you go to pay for a product, but for me, as it is now, it just says my email address. So i was curious do I need a merchant account or need to start a new paypal for my webstore; and what would be the benefits? Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks! # POSTED ON: September 11, 2011 @ 09:42 GMT -7 |

I upgraded my personal Paypal account to a Premier account. As far as I can remember it was free to do. I think they carry out some additional security checks, then you're good to go. I can accept credit and debit cards easily now. # POSTED ON: October 6, 2011 @ 04:06 GMT -7 |

I actually ended up updating my account to a business so I could get the business name on the invoice. It was also free! # POSTED ON: October 6, 2011 @ 09:33 GMT -7 |
