Hi, when I download my sales data, transactions that do NOT contain a promotion code are fine, all in column A so I can put text to columns. However, on data where there IS a promotion code, the data stops after the promotion code, and all data after it is displayed in column B. This means when I want to put everything into columns, all data after the promotion code is lost because column B is overwritten. Is this something you can fix so all data continues to be in one place? # POSTED ON: September 26, 2011 @ 14:21 GMT -7 |

I also have lines where if they purchased more than one item, the first item stays in column A, but then the second item and all data after falls onto column B, again getting overwritten. # POSTED ON: September 26, 2011 @ 14:25 GMT -7 |

Sorry, I don't quite follow what you're trying to describe? I downloaded a copy of your log for the past month, and it opened up in my spreadsheet program just fine, everything in its place. Bear in mind that although the log downloads as a (zipped) text file, it really isn't intended to be viewed as raw plaintext. Rather, it's a tab-delimited plaintext data file suitable to be viewed/imported in a spreadsheet program like Excel or Gnumeric (the latter is free and what I use), or possibly imported to a database. This format only uses a single tab character as a delimiter between each field on a given line, which usually won't line up visually very well when viewed as raw plaintext. If this doesn't seem to answer your concern, feel free to email a sample file you downloaded from Seller Admin that has the problem you're describing, and reference some particular Transaction IDs we should examine where the problem is apparent: https://www.e-junkie.com/ej/contact.php # POSTED ON: September 26, 2011 @ 20:01 GMT -7 |

Ok, I discovered the problem after I thought about what you wrote. What I used to do is change the file extension to .xls thinking that's what I needed to do. So, seeing you didn't mention that, I just opened the .txt file directly with Excel and it prompted me to separate the data by tab, and it was happy with that and there are no issues now. Weird, huh? Thanks so much!! # POSTED ON: September 26, 2011 @ 23:28 GMT -7 |
