added auth cart customization description field help net on0 on1 option os0 os1 page passed payment perhaps system variables

I have an option being added to the cart which I would like passed through to the auth.net payment system (perhaps in the 'description' field). How would I go about doing that?

Is that something that you guys might be able to add for us?
