We have two boxes that we use for shipping orders: Small Box and Regular Box

Each box has a cost assigned to it: Small Box = $5, Regular Box = $20

We handle shipping by defining how many of a product can fit into the box that is assigned to it.

For example, Product A ships in the Small Box and we can fit 3 of them into the box.

So a customer ordering 1 -3 of Product A would be charged $5 shipping to pay for the Small Box

If the customer orders 4 of Product A he/she would be charged $10 since we would need to use a second Small Box.

Here’s where it gets tricky…

The box prices ($5 and $20) apply only to orders shipped to the USA.

For any other country we need to change the cost to $13 for the Small Box and $41 for the Regular Box.

I’ve so far been unable to figure out the best way to handle this.

I’m hoping someone here will have a creative solution that will solve my problem.

First, go to Seller Admin > Cart Shipping and set the difference in domestic vs. int'l rates as the Weight for each box size -- e.g., Small Box Weight = 8.00, and Regular Box Weight = 21.00. Then click Next to save those changes and proceed to the Shipping Rules screen. Create these two Rules:

Domestic shipping:
# Shipping Rate Calculator: Price per unit weight;
# Shipping Amount: 0.00
# Country: United States;
# Click Submit to save the Rule.

International shipping:
# Shipping Rate Calculator: Price per unit weight;
# Shipping Amount: 1.00;
# Country: All Countries (i.e. the rest of your Shipping Destination countries);
# Click Submit to save the Rule.

Click Back to Admin, and you're done!
