Is there a way to prevent EJunkie from applying a sales tax in the cart yet still have Google Checkout apply sales tax?

We don't know if there's any way to use our service but have tax calculated during checkout at Google's end, as that would be outside of our system, so if it's even possible, it would be up to you to experiment and sort that out on your own. It MIGHT be possible if you use our Buy Now buttons, which bypass our cart and take the buyer directly to instant checkout for just one item at a time:
