Hello, I'd recommend checking with PayPal about that. We don't have any say on which credit cards you can accept and how they are processed on this end. If you are using our credit card checkout page and it turns out that you need to remove the American Express option there is a way to do that. If so, go to Seller Admin > Edit Payment Preferences and do the following: -Check the box to Enable Authorize.net -In the new boxes that appear for which credit cards you will accept, uncheck American Express -Uncheck the box to Enable Authorize.net and re-enable your PayPal account. # POSTED ON: January 27, 2012 @ 18:08 GMT -7 |

Thank you for your response. I've contacted PayPal and was told that I have to notify my third party payment provider (not sure if those are right words) that I am accepting American Express cards. # POSTED ON: January 27, 2012 @ 19:07 GMT -7 |

You should be able to use the steps Josh provided in his post: 1) Go to Seller Admin>Edit Payment Preferences in your E-junkie Account; 2) Add a check mark to the box for Authorize.net; 3) Add a check mark to the box for American Express; 4) Remove the check mark from the box for Authorize.net; 5) Click Submit. If you are not using Authorize.net or PayPal Website Payment Pro, then these steps will not work to alter the cards accepted directly by the payment processor. # POSTED ON: January 28, 2012 @ 09:47 GMT -7 |
