Somehow my monthly subscription changed to an e-check version through Paypal as opposed to my bank's credit card which was how it was originally set up. The change appears to have happened when I had to cancel my old subscription because I changed my Paypal account. I don't recall but perhaps I erroneously set it up this way. However I want to change the payment method back to my credit card. I tried following the directions about how to change the funding source but when I log into Paypal I'm not able to change from an e-check version to the credit card. The only option that's provided is the Paypal e-check method. Do I have to cancel this subscription again and set it up under the credit card? Thanks for your help. # POSTED ON: February 2, 2012 @ 15:29 GMT -7 |

First make sure the card you want to use is fully up-to-date (expiration, etc.) in your PayPal account's funding sources. Then see if you can edit the existing subscription to select that as a funding method. If not, you can try canceling and restarting your subscription as explained here (same procedure, you'll just be using the same PayPal account for the "new" subscription): http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/tips.subscription.paypal-account.htm PayPal will always try to fund subscription payments from your PayPal account balance first, then they will turn to your subscription's preferred funding method to cover any unfunded remainder of the payment. # POSTED ON: February 2, 2012 @ 15:58 GMT -7 |
