If a customer pays through paypal.. but does so with an e-check? (Im assuming not enough funds on paypal account..so it takes directly form linked bank account?) does the customer STILL get immediate access to the download?? or does the link become 'active' once payment has been truly completed? thanks! # POSTED ON: April 7, 2012 @ 13:10 GMT -7 |

Presuming you leave "Wait for pending payments..." checked in Seller Admin > Payment Preferences, we won't even get notified of the order by PayPal until the check actually clears (which can take up to a week, as the banks handle these just like a real, paper check), and only then will we process the order (issue download links, send emails, etc.). # POSTED ON: April 8, 2012 @ 21:21 GMT -7 |

Thanks.. yes it 'is' checked.. just had gotten an email about an e-check payment...etc. also.. since it was brought up.. on the same page.. it mentions the micro payments PayPal account? for items/payments under $12..etc.. all my products are under $12.. mostly $5-7 each item... is this something we should be doing? and is it too late to 'switch' if things are live and sales done already? Thanks # POSTED ON: April 9, 2012 @ 04:37 GMT -7 |

If you expect most/all of your order totals to be under $12, you can have PayPal convert your PayPal account to a Micropayments basis, then all of your payments sent to that account would use their Micropayments transaction fee structure. In this case, you won't need to use the Micropayments setting in your E-junkie Payment Preferences screen. If you expect some order totals over $12 and others under $12, you can set up a separate Micropayments account with PayPal, then put the PayPal Email for that account in your E-junkie Payment Preferences setting for Micropayments. In this case, we would send order totals over $12 to checkout for your regular PayPal Email (in Edit Profile screen) and totals under $12 would be sent to checkout for your Micropayments PayPal Email. # POSTED ON: April 9, 2012 @ 15:49 GMT -7 |
