For my basic products, I sell up to 5 items for a flat rate of $5. That is clear and is working. For one product, which is actually a series of 4 products separately sent out every 5 weeks, I want the shipping rate to be $20 ($5 for each product sent individually) (If the above is not clear. I will be selling one product which is a series of 4 bottles, but will not be sending them out all at one time. Every 5 weeks, the customer will receive a bottle. Thus, I need to have the flat rate shipping of $5 be charged 4 times - $20 total at time of sale) I'm not sure how to do that. One product does not have any shipping. (It's a deposit for a future product). If the person only purchases the deposit, how can I have the product not receive the flat shipping rate? thank you. # POSTED ON: April 22, 2012 @ 20:00 GMT -7 |

For your non-shippable deposit product, just leave Shipping/Buyer's Address disabled in the product's settings. For your 4-bottle product, your $5 per-order Handling charge would still apply, so you just need to make up the remaining $15 difference. Go to Seller Admin > Cart Shipping Settings, pick a Packaging Type you don't use for any other products, and set that package's Cost to 15.00. Click Next to save that setting, then click Back to Admin. When you add/edit the 4-bottle product, be sure to enable Shipping/Buyer's Address in that product's settings, then click Next to reach the product's Shipping Options screen, select the same Package Type that you'd configured with the 15.00 Cost setting, then click Next until you can Submit changes. # POSTED ON: April 23, 2012 @ 13:21 GMT -7 |
