PayPal Monthly Payments

I know you can use a monthly subscription or monthly payment in PayPal, but will e-Junkie shopping Cart support these?
If not, is there a work-around to divide a product into 2-3 payments?
Thanks!
Carol

I'm a bit confused by the explanation. It says:
Our system has no way of handling recurring payments such as a periodic subscription or installment plan; however, you can use PayPal Recurring Payments with PayPal's own Subscription buttons at the same time as using E-junkie with PayPal, and they won't interfere with each other at all.

It looks like there is a way to do it, but later it it looks like it just won't work.
So will it work and are there instructions? I want to be sure my affiliates still get paid their percentage.

Or is there a work-a-round? Like maybe allowing the customer to change the price to half and pay it again in 30 days? Would that create a problem?
Thanks!
Carol

There is a way you can accept auto-recurring payments, just not involving our system in any way, as we have no way to initiate auto-recurring payments nor process orders for such payments.

If you choose to use PayPal Recurring Payments, using the Subscribe button codes provided by PayPal, that won't interfere with using the same PayPal account to take payment for your other E-junkie products. Any subscription/recurring payments you receive that way would be completely invisible to our system, so we would have no way of processing orders for those payments, nor tracking affiliate referrals/commissions, etc.

If you need to use our system, you would need to treat every single payment as a separate order that the buyer must place deliberately. You might set up a separate product for the continuing/renewal payments, or just provide buyers of the initial-payment item with a discount code they could enter when they place subsequent orders to make additional payments. This help page explains our discount settings:
