On the generic button codes, what is the difference when the %custom% variable gets populated? Specifically, I see "mkt" and "shp" come through.

Perhaps the "mkt" is when the customer searches in EJ market place for the product directly, and "shp" is when they purchase via your shop?

Yes, that's correct. When a buyer places their order from your E-junkie Shop on our site, you will see 'shp' passed as the 'custom' variable for the order, but when they find your product listing in the general E-junkie Marketplace and place their order there, you would see 'mkt' passed as the 'custom' variable.
