Hallo e-junkies, I've built a site for selling poetry books using CMS Made Simple and it's default ecommerce suite. The client account uses PayPal Standard and currently they're only selling analogue books. However, they are starting to move into selling audio and ebooks and would like to have an integrated cart that allows selling products hosted on e-junkie servers _and_ their paper books in the same cart. I've spent the last hour Googling the issue but can't seem to find any examples of cart setups except where people are purely selling products through e-junkie. I realise that this issue has probably been raised on the forums before but can't find any useful help. I just wondered if someone could give me a 'yes' or 'no' or 'go look at this resource' before I spend 4 hours trawling the documentation. Thanks in advance. Hello Keith, The only way to have your client's tangible products appear in the same cart as the downloadable ones which will be sold through our service would be to use our cart for everything. Our features depend on the use of our cart, so there's no way to integrate with a third party cart and handle only a portion of the order. How many products will your client have in total, downloadable and tangible? Often it does not much more, if anything at all, to use our cart for everything. Our prices are based on the number of products being sold and the amount of digital storage needed. For example, if the client was selling five 10 MB files they could use our $5 plan, which supports 10 products and 50 MB of storage space. They'd have filled up their storage space with those five digital products, but still have room for five more non-digital products without requiring an upgrade. # POSTED ON: July 6, 2012 @ 16:55 GMT -7 |
